What was supposed to be just a seasonal job quickly turned into an creative learning experience.
I moved from the sales floor to shipment receiving within a couple months. I learned so much from the visual merchandiser at the time and ended up training to fill her position when she got promoted to a different location. While visual merchandiser I managed the layout and visuals of the sales floor, executed company wide visual updates, and remedied low inventory with new shipment. Throughout the corse of the job, I learned so much and loved how creative a sales job could be.
